The St. Joseph Academy High School Football Team in San Marcos, CA just began partnering with Virtue=Strength this year.

The school has an amazing Catholic Identity and has created an atmosphere where the students truly become Catholic leaders who love our Lord, our Blessed Mother, the Mass and our Catholic Faith.

After the football team did their first Father-Son Jersey Ceremony, one of football players, Paolo, had the idea to honor Mary by signing after games.

He brought the idea to his Athletic Director and Assistant Football Coach, John Murray and John encouraged him to share the idea with the captains.

He did.

Now the team sings the Hail Mary in Latin to honor our Blessed Mother after every game.

Paolo, the young man who suggested the team sing.

Isaac and Andrew, the captains of the team, shared why they sing and why they love their Catholic faith so much.

Imagine if every Catholic school team honored our Lord and our Blessed Mother in some different ways before and after games.

BE THE LIGHT!
